Who We Are
BMC provides programming, support and advocacy for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals and their families and friends in the Mennonite and Brethren traditions.
BMC Mission Statement
The mission of BMC is to cultivate an inclusive church and society and to care for the Mennonite and Brethren lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied community.
Mission and Vision Statement
Our objectives are:
- To provide support for Mennonite and Church of the Brethren gay, lesbian,
transgender, and bisexual people, their friends and families
- To foster dialogue between gay and non-gay people in
churches
- To provide accurate information about human sexuality from various theological, sociological, psychological, and biblical perspectives.
